Feasibility Studies

IPS specialises in determining in conjunction with the client the correct product option (or options) for the available raw materials. A conceptual design is then developed and costed, with an operating cost model (if required) of the process to provide an analysis of the returns for the chosen option.

The following is a more detailed outline of what is offered.

Process Definition
A project review is carried out to determine the exact product requirements for the process plant. During this time IPS will work with the marketing people to determine the exact product range to be manufactured in both the long and short term.
Conceptual Design
IPS will provide a conceptual design for the plant that will form the basis of the design that the supply companies will tender against. This design will be based on what is determined as being the best solution for the operation.
Raw Material Supply Audits
An important part of any new project is to determine the quality of the raw material supply. IPS will undertake an audit of any potential raw material supplier to the new venture to determine the products suitability for processing and to advice on any changes that are required to the suppliers system to meet the requirements for the new plant.
Financial Analysis
IPS can prepare a financial model of the anticipated process system to determine the true operating cost. This model can determine the profitability of any given option and once set-up can be easily used to assess various operating scenarios. It is a very powerful tool that will assist you to gauge the viability of any investment.
